The grievance meeting took place in February 2020 and after the meeting I was told that I would receive the outcome in two weeks, then covid-19 happened which is a terrible pandemic and I fully understand that this was a game changer for everyone, I emailed the investigation team on several occasions regarding the outcome, I received two emails stating that they were on annual leave one email stating "I know I promised to get your outcome letter this week, but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I will be unable to get it completed this week" Then several weeks later I still had no response from the investigation team so I sent another email I got no response after 4 weeks so I emailed my union representative to let them know that the team had not replied to my last email, he then asked me if I wanted him to email the investigation team I said yes and sent him their email address, he received an immediate reply from them stating that the person investigating had taken some time out from the company and that the outcome of the grievance would be sent out by the end of that week, they had not kept me informed of this, it has taken from the initial two weeks to seven month for me to receive the outcome, and the companies outcome is based on dates from February 2020 to September 2020, and not May 2019 to February 2020 which are the dates where the work overload issues were happening, and this would be able to be proven, the dates they have looked at are dates after the Grievance meeting which are in their favour, the hours I worked over were not paid to me apparently because I never asked to be paid for them (emailed my manager to say that he wasn't paying me for the extra hours) and my manager and team co-ordinator have denied all other allegation in the grievance.
