Got rid of them and removed the smaller bush and nut, then inserted just the hinge, rubber washer and screw through the hole and then from underneath, I used the smaller bush with the nut inserted and jiggled it until it engaged the screw and then with the screw driver I was able to connect with the thread and bring it to a tight fit.So far, so good.I've noted some of the negative comments regarding this product and will update my entry if I experience anything similar.
